The Director of the Office of Wellbeing serves as the campus leader for the assessment, strategic development, and implementation of innovative evidence-based health promotion approaches. Staying abreast of intersecting national and higher education trends regarding resilience, and effective prevention and health promotion activities, the Director oversees and coordinates the work of the office’s health promotion professionals. The Director also develops and advocates for policies and a built environment that address campus health and wellbeing – with particular attention to the needs and experiences of traditionally underserved and/or marginalized campus populations.
